  • The customer will provide the necessary information requested in a timely manner, information includes mandatory images and information to be submitted to the iOS and Android stores. Failure to supply this information in a timely manner will lead to delays in publishing the Apps to the relevant stores.
  • Your radio stations stream must be online during testing and app review. If your streaming server experiences downtime during this time (from information submission through to app review by the relevant stores), this will delay the build, test and review process.
  • iOS and Android App stores are likely to take up to 4 working days to publish apps, autopo.st cannot influence the time it takes for Apps to be approved by the relevant stores.
  • The Android app will be published under the autopo.st developer licenses. Source code or app builds will not be released at any stage. iOS/iTunes Apps must be published under your own Apple Developer Account, please see below for more details.

Abuse of the messaging feature will lead to this feature being deactivated. If complaints are received by users due to abuse of the Push Notification feature, it will be deactivated to protect other users of the platform.
  • autopo.st will ensure that sufficient precautions are taken to ensure platform availability to support the App usage for its customers and will provide service credits for any downtime of its own platform (this does not include third party outages). Credits will never exceed the monthly equivalent of the service paid.
  • autopo.st will publish Apps to the relevant stores within 72 hours (3 working days) of receiving the completed order and submission. We are not responsible for the length of time each app store takes to review and make the apps live. As a guide, Google take 2-3 days and Apple take 2-3 days to typically review and make live the apps.
  • autopo.st will provide a refund if the Apps are not successfully published to the App Stores ONLY if it is due to an issue with the functionality of the Apps themselves. This does NOT include issues with customers websites, content, missing or incomplete information submitted which could lead to the Apps being rejected (including any documentation that may be required, specifically around the payment of royalties that Apple may request). autopo.st will not publish Apps until all information and details requested on this page is submitted in its entirety.
  • Please note! You must have your own Apple Developer account for us to be able to submit your apps to the iOS Apple iTunes platform. More details below.
  • Please note! Apple and Google will likely ask you to provide documentation confirming that you pay royalties for your audio stream. You must be prepared to provide this if required.

Apple Developer Account Creation Process

Following the recent changes to Apples Developer Account Terms and Conditions in late 2017, it is now necessary for each customer to have their own Apple Developer account for us to publish their iOS/tvOS apps to. Apple may also request documentation proving that you pay royalties for the audio stream on your app.

These changes relate to section 4.2.6/5.2.1 of Apples Terms and Conditions which specify that TV/Mobile Apps should be submitted under each customers own developers account and not of the developer themselves (in this case, autopo.st).

As such, each customer must now take out a new Apple Developer account under their own name and, once completed, we will publish/transfer the app to their account for review and certification.

Here are the steps to create your own Apple Developer account:

  • Please keep in mind the Apple Developer account is currently £79/year ($99/year).
  • First, an Apple ID is required to use Apple Services. Click here to create your Apple ID. You will not be able to proceed until this step is completed.
  • To start enrollment for the Apple Developer Program visit this page and login to the developer section with your Apple ID.
  • After log in, you will be prompted to accept the Apple Developer Agreement in order to proceed.
  • Next, select “Join the Apple Developer Program”.
  • From there select the “enroll” button in the top right corner
  • On the bottom of the next page, select the "start your enrollment" option.
  • On the next screen and page fill out your organization’s information, agree to the legal agreements and then select the purchase button.
  • Done! You now have a fully functioning Apple Developer account.

Once you have completed the above steps, please email us or raise a support ticket with your Apple Developer credentials and we will publish the built app to your developer account.
